The ITV production team and equipment will board in Southampton. En route to Barcelona, they will construct the stage for the show in the middle of the ship on deck 16. This means that one of the swimming pools (Riviera) in this area will be closed from Wednesday, 30 March. From 1 April, the entire swimming pool area in the middle of the ship will be closed as the team make the final preparations for the live broadcast. It will all open again on Sunday, 3 April.
